FFGF – Jumping on the bandwagon

At this moment in time, that bandwagon is “Gangnam Style” by Psy.

This is one of those things that still leaves me speechless and giggly all at the same time, especially now I have seen the translation of the song :

(Please note these lyrics were found on http://www.kpoplyrics.net/psy-gangnam-style-lyrics-english-romanized.html)

Oppa is Gangnam style
Gangnam style

A girl who is warm and humanle during the day
A classy girl who know how to enjoy the freedom of a cup of coffee
A girl whose heart gets hotter when night comes
A girl with that kind of twist

I’m a guy
A guy who is as warm as you during the day
A guy who one-shots his coffee before it even cools down
A guy whose heart bursts when night comes
That kind of guy

Beautiful, loveable
Yes you, hey, yes you, hey
Beautiful, loveable
Yes you, hey, yes you, hey
Now let’s go until the end

Oppa is Gangnam style, Gangnam style
Oppa is Gangnam style, Gangnam style
Oppa is Gangnam style

Eh- Sexy Lady, Oppa is Gangnam style
Eh- Sexy Lady oh oh oh oh

A girl who looks quiet but plays when she plays
A girl who puts her hair down when the right time comes
A girl who covers herself but is more sexy than a girl who bares it all
A sensable girl like that

I’m a guy
A guy who seems calm but plays when he plays
A guy who goes completely crazy when the right time comes
A guy who has bulging ideas rather than muscles
That kind of guy

Beautiful, loveable
Yes you, hey, yes you, hey
Beautiful, loveable
Yes you, hey, yes you, hey
Now let’s go until the end

Oppa is Gangnam style, Gangnam style
Oppa is Gangnam style, Gangnam style
Oppa is Gangnam style

Eh- Sexy Lady, Oppa is Gangnam style
Eh- Sexy Lady oh oh oh oh

On top of the running man is the flying man, baby baby
I’m a man who knows a thing or two
On top of the running man is the flying man, baby baby
I’m a man who knows a thing or two

You know what I’m saying
Oppa is Gangnam style

If you haven’t seen the original version of the song, please descend with me into the madness :

And for some alternative eye candy, from the US Naval Academy Spirit Spot!

Have a good weekend guys, I’m off to the parents for my mum’s birthday.

FFGF – Madverts

There’s been a lot of bad news this week, so there wasn’t a lot to smile about. However, this is the Friday Feel Good Factor so I must make an effort.

I present to you a collection of adverts that …

boggle the mind:

make you giggle :

and, warm the heart :

Please note : I do not endorse any of the products/companies above. I just like their adverts.

Have a good weekend everyone

Highlights from the Weekend

So, I admitted on Friday I’d spent the week in a bit of a funk, but this weekend has pretty much cleared those cobwebs away. So why, on a Monday, am I in such a good mood?

Firstly – Strictly is back!!!!!!

Before we get to the celebrities, more importantly, James Jordan is back!

Now, the celebrities this year look like a cracking line-up. I’m struggling to see who the blooper is going to be (remember John Sargeant, Russell Grant, Ann Widdecombe?)

I’m really looking forward to the 5th October for the first proper episode with dancing, as Strcitly holds a special place in my heart. I found the song for our first dance thanks to Natalie Lowe

Moving on, the second highlight of the weekend – DOWNTON ABBEY IS BACK!!!!!!

This is one of the few programmes Mr H and I watch without fail every Sunday night, and, more importantly, do not talk through.

And they got married!!!!!

What with the Great Gatsby being released in cinemas soon, I think there’ll be a spate of 20’s themed weddings around the corner. Sorry Kate, but Mary Crawley is giving you some stiff competition!

Will Mr Bates ever get out of prison – surely his spiteful ex wife can’t have the last laugh?????

And finally, the biggest highlight of the weekend, which still has me welling up, was the most beautiful and fantastic proposal whilst we were at Cirque du Ciel on Saturday.

The short version is whilst we were sat applauding the acrobats at the end of the show, a familiar face appeared in the chorus line. Buddy then proposed to Rainbow Girl in front of the whole theatre, to which she said yes.

Congratulations Rainbow Girl and Buddy, Mr H and I couldn’t be happier for you both xxx

FFGF – Circus!

Been in a bit of a funk this week, hence the lack of posts, however I need to get excited for tomorrow as we’re off for Rainbow Girl’s birthday tomorrow night!

Tomorrow evening I will be watching (in the words of Buddy) some “flipping Asians” performing the Cirque du Ciel.

So as a taster for tomorrow night :

And for something to bring a smile to my face …

Have a great weekend everyone x

FFGF – For All You Twilight Lovers and Haters

This was too funny to watch.

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the Twilight books and am working my way through the films but this just made my stomach hurt from laughing.

Have a great weekend!

#57 – Been to a Festival

Sorry this post is a bit late, Mr H has gone away for work so everything has slid a bit.
Anyhoo, this weekend I crossed No. 57 off my 101 list.

Mr H and I (with other reprobates) went to Festwich in Manchester, and believe it or not, I got sunburnt?! Nope, I’m struggling to believe it too!

Festwich is a rock tribute band day festival, which featured Higher On Maiden, A Whole Lotta DC, Megadeth UK, and my personal favourite Bon Giovi.

I have to admit that the only band I was interested in was the Bon Jovi tribute, who were the headliners and boy did they rock. I sang my heart out (mainly because I knew all their songs!)

We were supposed to have gone to Sunday but I wasn’t feeling great, which was a shame as it was Arctic Patrol and other indie cover bands! Humph!

Anyhoo, here are a few pics from the day – and yet again – none of me. They must be on other peoples cameras.
